Power plants less contaminating :

A company located in Verberie, specialized in the development of environmentally friendly solutions for industrial applications, offers to lower the power plants’ CO2 emissions. Mexel Industries has in fact developed a biodegradable emulsion for the treatment of water cooling circuits for power plants. This could lower the CO2 emissions by 100,000 to 300,000 tons /year for a 1,500MW power station.

MEXEL Industries was invited by MASDAR and the French Chamber of Commerce and Industry to participate in the world largest exhibition for the environment and energy, from January 18th to 21st. It covers power generation, oil&gas and construction industries, see www.worldfutureenergysummit.com.

This was the occasion to confirm the growing interest from the Middle East Utilities and Oil & Gas companies for our Mexel 432 anti-fouling and Mexfuel products. Following the World Water Conference in Qatar earlier 2009, there are growing concerns about the amount of chemicals, anti-fouling, oxidizing and anti-scaling agents, and heavy metals (copper, …) discharged in the Gulf Sea. Some specific newspapers articles and studies can be found on this subject in our download section, see paragraph “papers”: http://mexel.fr/references/brochures-information-papers/
